Battle of the (School) Band

The 2008 BOTSB (Part of Chipping Sodbury Festival) was held at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall last Wednesday night. With the prize of opening the SodburyRox Music Festival on Tuesday 17th June up for grabs, competition was tight. Eventual runners-up Area 51 boasting the musical talents of the Holloway brothers Matt (14) and Luke (11) together with Ed Allonby (14) and Ellis Read (12) provide a great performance beyond their years.

 

 

 

However, eventual winners Natural Tendency impressed the judges slightly more with their self-penned very Muse-like aural experience. Natural Tendency, starring the musical brilliance of Ed Taylor (17) on Vox, Guitar and Keys, Paul Edwards (17) on Guitar, Tom Latham (18) on Bass and Chris Taylor (18) on drums will open SodburyRox at approx 7.15.
